NCR Bodyshops adhere to principles and practices that ensure we carry out our business activities in a socially responsible manner by promoting sustainable development in our business.

We continuously look at areas within our business where we can reduce our carbon footprint.

We are held accountable and comply with all known legislation; we aim to exceed these requirements where possible.

 

Energy Consumption

  • All staff are trained to shut down all equipment at the end of each working day
  • All Repairs and Renewals to our premises look to reduce energy wastage and equipment purchased is more energy efficient
  • The trucks, courtesy vans, Directors Vehicle and some loan cars are diesel presenting a higher level of fuel economy and a lower impact on the environment than petrol engines

Waste Disposal

  • All of our waste is sorted and 75% is recycled. We are aiming to raise this to 85% within the next 18 months
  • Over 80% of vehicles can be recycled; we at NCR contribute to this by our recycling measures
  • We shred and recycle all paper and where possible re-use paper before shredding
